INVENTORY

ARRIVAL

  • shirt, tunic (x2), trousers, heavy cloak, riding boots, belt.
  • traveling pack: waterskin, packet of dried meat, extra shirt and trousers, flint, kindling, wool blanket.
  • 2 small knives

    BOONS

  • a rolled-leather case of assassin's tools: stiletto knives, garrote wire, fine vials and sachets of poisons, darts, and more. They roll so neatly in their leather case that one might imagine it's an artist or scribe's kit - if the brass latches of the pack are hooked after a certain fashion, it will become invisible to all senses but touch- and that by feel alone can the latches be undone, the tools again revealed.
  • a small stud earring with a pearl of black metal which allows him to teleport between the gardens of Caer Glaem and Caer Scima when he wears it.
  • a plain white bone ring, which will allow him to teleport within Dorchadas... but only during nights! - also a Yule-red cloak and a holly cloakpin.
  • a modification to the ring Solais gave him that will allow him to teleport to Lancelot's side, and will grow warm when Lancelot is in duress.
  • command of a pair of well-trained career guards
  • the ability to turn into a hound at whim
  • further modification to the ring Solais gave him that will also have a last chance buff stat boost when they’re fighting together to help when the other’s health goes into critical.

    MISC

  • a simple iron band that lets the wearer and a body they touch become as phantasms, passing through wood and stone like air; from Celegorm
  • his druid costume from Samhain
  • a golden ring emblazoned with the symbol of a dagger trapped in a sun that will allow him to requisition unparalleled aid of Seelie-aligned NPCs, and to gain automatic command of Seelie troops and soldiers when there is no higher-ranking PC present; from Solais
  • a dagger strong enough to survive shard magic; touching the blade itself will prove it cold, enchanted with ice; it has the word hope inscribed on one side, and faith on the other; from Lancelot
  • a palm-sized glass orb that will give illumination visible only to him - good for three uses at most, then must be recharged by a magic user; from the Brucolac
  • a small carven white stone the size and shape of a die, blessed by a moon-shrine - "for luck, when he walks in the dark with monsters"; from the Brucolac
  • undetermined amount of money for helping him to rescue Lady and slay the Hart; from Lancelot
  • a scrying stone, formerly a star
  • Maglor's silver harp - made by Feanor, it is always in tune, the silver does not tarnish, and the strings do not break unless one deliberately breaks them. "It is old, a lovely silver harp exquisitely carved so that the vines that twist up it seem almost alive, the tiny carvings of bee and butterflies almost as if they might fly, and the silver strings sing sweetly."
  • Ciar - Faolan's cleg, acquired for him by Lancelot (female)
  • Conall - Faolan's dire wolf, which he picked up on the road as an abandoned pup in July 2701 while on a mission (male)
  • a new set of leathers, made in dark colours; from Lancelot
  • a thick riding cloak with a metal clasp to fasten it; the clasp depicts a wolf sat by a harp; from Lancelot
  • a pair of bracers embossed with a wolf sat by a harp; from Lancelot
  • a new set of riding tack, the side of the saddle carefully embossed with a wolf sat by a harp, the reins equally on decorative studs; from Lancelot
  • A letter, from Lancelot
  • random bits and pieces of golden trinkets and gems and other objects, all sharing a certain level of shininess; for Bridei, from Draco
  • a charmed cloak; from Hermione
  • a charmed bag; from Hermione
  • a set of potions to offer protection; from Hermione
  • a sword made just for him, commissioned by Hermione herself, and the sheath that comes with it is charmed to make sure the blade doesn't rust; from Hermione
  • a leather bound notebook that has a handwritten account of Diarmuid's life in it; from Diarmuid
  • a bottle of fine wine; from Diarmuid
  • a mirror; commissioned from Hermione, it is the base for a whole network of his own, to be used for his agents/informational purposes
  • a small pendant in the shape of a wolf; carved by Lancelot out of the remnants of the antlers of the White Hart, the token makes the wearer heal faster and feel more at peace

JANUARY FEBRUARY MARCH APRIL MAY JUNE JULY AUGUST SEPTEMBER OCTOBER NOVEMBER DECEMBER

JANUARY FEBRUARY MARCH APRIL MAY JUNE JULY

    THREADTRACKER

    JUNE
01 - Faolan arrives at the feast at Caer Scima and tries to get the lay of the land.
04 - Faolan and Celegorm meet for the first time, and do some sparring in the yard.
14 - He chides Sigrid for being out in the middle of nowhere with a wounded leg, by herself.
18 - Rounding up imps with Harry. Harry doesn't want him to kill them, despite them having permission to do so. Faolan acquiesces, albeit hesitantly.
20 - Having nothing better to do, Faolan accompanies the party on the road to Mair. And then Celegorm freaks out over this Silmaril. And Faolan's plans are changed drastically. It would seem he's off to Caer Glaem, now.

    JULY
08 - Faolan arrives at Caer Glaem, and meets Sigrid in the kitchen. She gives him soup.
12 - Doing his best spy business, he runs into Clarisse at the field day, and charms her dogs.
    19 - Celegorm sends him a letter.
18 - Faolan runs into Maglor while the pair of them are both spying around the castle looking for the Silmaril. (date approximate)
22 - Sigrid reveals to him that Lord Stark has reason to believe the charge is a feint for spies to search the castle for the Silmaril - which would be true, considering that's his job. Also, Faolan sends a letter back to Celegorm.
23 - His memories of Ana are shared with the locket network at large, which is NOT OKAY with him.

    AUGUST
02 - Faolan reads Sigrid's "code letter" to Lancelot over her shoulder, cracks it within minutes, and therefore reveals to her that he is the spy himself. After calming her, she offers Lord Stark's protection.
09 - Sigrid introduces Faolan to Ned for potential employment. Ned disappears from the lands soon thereafter.
10 - Faolan comes across Sigrid with a dying little bird in her hands, and tries to get the answer out of her as to what happens. (The shadows killed it.)
16 - The shadow beast storms the castle, but once it has been contained, Faolan captures the girl it was. He intends to use the capture as leverage to convince the Seelie King and Queen of his loyalty, so that he can stay without remaining in hiding. Things do not go quite as planned. (Ariadne does not escape, the monarchs don't want him. At least he can stay though?)

    SEPTEMBER
18 - 20 - A bunch of stuff happens in Treun? In no particular order:

  • He scolds Sigrid for taking gifts from and giving her name to strange men (Harry) on the streets
  • He flirts speaks with Lucrezia in the market
  • He finds Harry in a bar and tries to get answers out of him
  • Faolan does some legwork. Maybe he finds something interesting, maybe he doesn't...
  • He tries to get Tarrlok to convince everyone to leave
  • He tries to get a message out through the printer. At least he gets a message out?
  • He gets Sigrid the hell out of Treun
  • He receives word from Harry that Reynard is wreaking havoc and that the meeting of the Midnight Court went to shit.

  • Also - Sometime after Ariadne is freed, he recieves a note from her

    OCTOBER
13 - Faolan runs into Lucrezia fresh from a canon update and speaks to her about the loss of her child.
14 - Sigrid returns from running off with her fairies, and Faolan chides her for her disappearance. How can he protect her if he does not know where she is?
15 - He warns the network of Reynard and asks them for information about the Fox.
25 - 30 - Samhain happens. In no particular order:

  • 01/02: Faolan runs into a crazy bird man (Harry) and is unnerved by his mask.
  • Faolan meets Hermione, and questions her on 'the mischief is managed'.
  • 01/02: Faolan meets Grainne, and they speak of the possibility of going home.
  • 01/02: He runs into Maglor again, who invites him to play the harp. And he can't resist, damn damn damn.
  • 01/02: He meets the Lord El-Melloi II in the flesh. And they have a conversation in which neither of them gives much away...
  • 01/02: Faolan encourages a scantily-clad Lancelot to drink more and live a little.
  • 01/02: Sif gets mad at him for scowling in her direction.
  • 01/02: He flirts speaks to Lucrezia again, who is charming as always. She may or may not convince him to dance.
  • 01/02: He apologizes to Ariadne, which goes as well as it should he supposes.
  • He may or may not have offended Celegorm/Maglor's Mom...
  • He sees a ghost.
  • He runs into Tzilan doing weird worshipy stuff at a shrine to the Shuck in the Woods of Eithne.
  • NOVEMBER
02 - He has a very interesting conversation with Sansa about duty and gets to know her rather well from it, he would think.
08 - After receiving a quest from the Queen regarding the sigils and contact with NPCs, Faolan goes to meet with Harry and wrestles interesting information out of him. After that conversation, he seeks to speak to Lancelot, but quickly discovers he must wait for him to return from yet another heroic adventure. He also asks Unseelie Lancelot about his information regarding the Governor of Treun, and Waver is most informative in giving him some names as well.
15 - After Lancelot returns from Cothromach, Faolan seeks his advice on his quest. Of course, the opposite of Harry, he advises to trust the monarchs.
16 - Faolan pays the Lord El-Melloi II (Waver) a visit. While not exactly a neutral between Harry and Lancelot, Waver can at least help him formulate a plan somewhere in the middle.
23 - After collecting various intel and seeking guidance from several sources, Faolan brings what information he feels comfortable with to Queen Solais. Then he warns all the people whose names he has just handed over. Also, he receives an interesting message from Maglor.
26 - Early in the morning, Faolan gets a summons to Lancelot's chambers. Lady has gone missing, and he has a new mission - retrieve her from none other than Reynard the Fox.
27 - Sometime after Lancelot speaks to him, Faolan speaks to Waver himself, and tries to keep himself as much in the loop in this as he can.
27-29 - While he has a moment to spare, Faolan infiltrates Caer Scima, tracks down an NPC shardbearer, and kills him for his shard to use in a trade for Lady, should it come to that. The operation takes time and effort, but is overall a success. When he returns he does some research regarding the disappearance of Sigrid, and determines that she must no longer be within the Drabwurld.
30 - Faolan is summoned to the council meeting of other victims of Reynard's theft to determine what is to be done here, and receives some surprising information in regards to Reynard's immortality. After the meeting, he returns to seek Lancelot's council. From there, he speaks to Queen Solais, who tells him that "the trick with the heart is an ancient magic, and that it must be destroyed all at once for the spell to be undone". He also asks for help in the retrieval of Lady, for Lancelot's sake and for hers for neither of them deserved this, and she gives him a shard on the condition that he (and by proxy Lancelot) participate in the slaying of Reynard, and return it to her once that is done. Now he has two shards to contend with...

    DECEMBER
03 - Traveling with Lancelot to Daonna, they meet up with the Brucolac and try to persuade the sorcerers responsible for Reynard's heart spell into giving them answers. It goes less well than planned.
04 - Using the shard given to him by the Queen, Faolan heads to the place in Nimhe Gleanne that he was instructed to leave it, places it in the mouth of one of the statues, speaks to some mist to be reassured that Lady will be returned unharmed, and then gets a ride home to wait for her appearance as fast as he can. Once he arrives and finds that Lady is safe and returned, together they head out to find Lancelot. Lancelot offers him a reward, and Faolan, seizing the opportunity, requests that he be in his service, and then they swear an oath together; "Until this place consumes us both."
05 - With no rest for the weary, Faolan travels to Treun with the Brucolac to start their mad rush to collect as many heart piece together as they may. They encounter Lillian Fortuna, who aids them in retrieving the heart piece in exchange for a promise that Faolan return to aid her in her investigations at a later point. He accepts, they retrieve the piece, and then they continue on to Lucky Penny's in Mair. On the way, Faolan places a call to Waver asking him if he might talk to someone to retrieve the shard for him, per the Queen. Waver gets mad, but says he'll talk to someone anyway. And then they carry on. Using his mist ring and the Brucolac's feather, Faolan travels down into the vaults, invisible and intangible, to seek out the heart piece. He finds it, but narrowly escapes from danger, and catches a glimpse of the mysterious Management as he does. Something is up with the Brucolac, but Faolan does not ask - they continue on their way.
06 - Meeting up with Vol'jin in Daonna, together with the Brucolac they descend into the catacombs under the city, where they discover there is an underground fighting ring of Shardbearers. Somehow they manage to retrieve the heart piece despite it all. Faolan is their eternal whipping boy.
09 - Sometime around the 9th, all of the heart pieces are collected, and the decision is made that they destroy it all as the Queen instructed. Later, Faolan recieves word from Waver that Reynard is well and truly dead, and no shards were found on the Fox. He decides to give the Queen the extra shard he had retrieved, and luckily for all involved, it's enough.
14 - With very little rest, having taken the long road home from Doanna, Faolan finds himself hunting for the Hart with Lancelot. And being changed into a polecat. And being very unhappy about this development. But at least Lancelot slays the Hart. He'd better give him credit like he said he would.
16 - Lady Sansa Stark contacts Faolan to let him know that Sigrid, "their mutual friend", is well and truly gone from the city. Faolan suspected as much, and thanks her for the confirmation, glad he has already made arrangements in regards to the matter.
19 - Lancelot convinces Faolan to accompany him to the Yule Party at the Barrel. Faolan speaks to Maglor in regards to his musical talents and gets uncomfortable about the mere presence of a harp. Then he sits down and has a conversation with Lancelot, wherein Lancelot offers him a more formal recognition of his services. And Faolan notices Lancelot's particular attentions to a certain Lady Guinevere.
~20 - After speaking to Lancelot, Hermione contacts Faolan in regards to her new quest - to gather the sigils. Faolan is unhappy but unsurprised that this has passed to another, but he tells her what he deems he can, and later is reassured by Lancelot that they will seek a way to destroy them when collected.
25 - Faolan is extended the invitation to come as Lucrezia's +1 to the Winter Shindig in I Othrann-in-Heneb, the new mountainhome of the Elves in Maechenibryth. He has a nice, relaxing time speaking to (and flirting with) pretty women there, including Lucrezia and Gwen, who he quickly befriends.
26 - Around the 26th, to Faolan's surprise, several gifts start drifting Faolan's way, from Lancelot and from the Brucolac of all people.
30 - Faolan sits down to help Lancelot write some letters, and serves as an adviser in the process.

    JANUARY
01-06 - Faolan assists in training for the upcoming battle. His interactions include:

  • Shard training with Lancelot on the 5th.
  • Advising Lady Maergery with her crossbow training.
  • Further shard training, this time "assisting" in training Ryan with Lancelot.
  • Advising Pod on weaponry.

  • 06 - Faolan is accosted on the way back from training by Archer, Lumina, and J'Sairr. During said encounter they knock him around and steal his locket. Later that night, Faolan dreamshares with Hermione, sharing with her one of his darkest memories of his past, as well as this vision:
Caer Scima rose from the mist of the dream-like vision like some darkly flowering plant, glittering under the silver of moonlight. A stain on the blue-white of winter that began to spread as the moon waxed full, glinting red like old blood. Upon its edges as they spread over forest and mountain, valley and plain, rose black towers that pierced the sky like the fingers of a bone-thin, clawing hand. Armies poured south from the cradle of them like a flood. Pikes and spears thick as forests.

07 - Lancelot brings Faolan to the Royal Audience before the Queen to request formal recognition of his service. Solais of course requires Faolan to speak for himself, so he does. And then he swears another oath: "On the bones that bear me. On the heart that beats to give me life. On the breath which gives my words form. Thus I swear my loyalty, my services - myself and all I have to offer - to him." And Solais bids him rise and finally welcomes him properly to Caer Glaem. Later that day, Faolan and Lancelot set off on their journey to Cul Lairid Orc and Mt. Verla.
14 - On the road to Mt. Verla, Faolan steps into Lancelot's dreams himself, thanks to the visions that the star-turned-scrying stone are giving him. Lancelot witnesses Faolan's murder of Dubhan. Faolan rescues Lancelot from Maupertius. The pair of them bond further in the dreamworld and then don't really have the opportunity to discuss it between each other afterwards, considering they have company in their travels.
~15 - On the road to Mt. Verla, the Brucolac is acting shady, Faolan is grumpy, John is everyone's dad, and Lancelot wants to chat.
19 - The party arrives at Mt. Verla to speak to the Pyrii. They offer their gifts and are rewarded with the advice that they should strike a spark in the shadow of the Jabberwock and then the Pyrii will come to their aid to slay it. And then they swarm forth to accept their true tribute. Faolan does what he must to save Lancelot, even if it means that he loses his own life in the process.
26 - After a week in the beyond, Faolan returns to life in Caer Glaem's Crypt to find that Lancelot bargained for his recovery from none other than Queen Solais herself.

    FEBRUARY
03 - Lancelot, Tarz, and Faolan meet to discuss strategy before the battle.
04-07 - The Battle of An Càrn Bàn

  • Faolan butts heads with Ariadne on the battlefield
  • Faolan is instructed to get Alice to safety. She refuses. He tries anyway. She kicks him. It is then that he admits defeat.
  • Faolan butts heads with Grell, who thinks him a traitor, which is not untrue.
  • Faolan and Lancelot fight side-by-side.

  • 10-13 - The Battle of An Càrn Dubh
  • Lancelot foolishly tries to take on Ganondorf by himself. Faolan appears to save him before he gets himself killed.
  • Diarmuid and Faolan share a moment of Camaraderie over battle. Faolan realizes that this is THE Diarmuid from legend, and is thrown by that for a moment.
  • Draco gives them a lift to the Station once news of the Jabberwock's presence there reaches them.

  • 14 - The Pyrii Team descends upon the Station to rid the world of the Jabberwock once and for all. Little do they know that they're not getting rid of the baby Jabberwhelp only serves to anger its father. Faolan is caught in the rot aura, but he is healed somewhat in the field. Lancelot then brings him back to the Citadel, bandages the lingering rot, and tries to keep him calm. The dragon egg choses this time to hatch; they name the little dragon Bridei, after Faolan's king and friend from home.
20 - Maglor sends Faolan an ominous letter about his plans on what should happen should he disappear. Faolan gets his harp. Little does he know that yes, he will get his harp in time.

    MARCH
26 - Faolan attends the meeting of the White Council with Lancelot.
CAUGHT - Towards the end of the month, after Faolan has received the harp and has written his first ballad, Lancelot catches him practicing, and finds out the last of his secrets - that he was a bard, in a former life. Lancelot suggest that he should play more, not less, and invites him to play for him when he can. Faolan, still slightly thrown and embarrassed, acquieces.
GENERAL - Faolan spends most of the month hiding from the cold under Lancelot's charmed blankets with Bridei, and feeling guilty he won't let him light a fire.

    APRIL
HARPS - Faolan is deeply affected by the playing of the harps that echoes through his dreams and continues through his waking moments.

  • He encounters Hermione, who reassures him of her friendship with him, despite everything.
  • He also encounters Gwen, who similarly reassures him of her friendship with him - her kind mood brightens his own.
  • It is his interaction with Lancelot during this event that stands apart from the rest however, as it is during this time that Faolan realizes he is in love with him.
  • MAY
PARRAIS - Faolan accompanies Lancelot on a trip to Parrais and learns several things from it, as well as simply keeping an eye on the man as he travels.
QUEST - Lancelot assigns Faolan with a quest - to connect with the Seelie spies stationed around Glaschu. He's going to need to travel for the next two months - leaving Lancelot and Bridei, a task which he must do, even if he does not want to.

    JUNE
    06-10 - The Treun Tourney

  • Faolan fights in the tourney, in the melee round, against a mysterious man who knocks him out within the first round. Needless to say he's upset about this.
  • He also encounters Sua and her dog, His Majesty, and proceeds to have a conversation about Lady Brave and silly dog names.
  • He bumps into Alice again, who is buying toys for the orphaned children that she has taken in. He offers to pay for something for her, so long as she doesn't kick him again.
  • Faolan meets Aragorn, who he had seen in the joust, and tells him he looks like a horseman, which amuses him.

  • SPYQUEST - TREUN - Faolan meets with Brianna, the first spy, who tells him that The Blind God followers have underground war with Sun cultists, and both seem to have appealed to the local Cult of the Fox leadership for aid against the other side. On top of that, the Fortuna family seems to have been heavily under attack by other noble families as of late. Faolan decides to message Lucrezia, who has been living with the Fortuna family, having been adopted by them, and meets with her, intent on finding out whether she can back up any of these rumors.
SPYQUEST - PARRAIS - Faolan travels to Parrais to track down Shaya. He is apprehensive about how the meeting actually goes down, but he does find out from her that There are some vampires that have hired agents to go into town to commit assassinations on those they believe killed their kin in the area, she says. Many of those were artists, and local elven artists have been strengthening their monopolies in the absence of that strong competition. She also goes on to speak about how some of the elves have moved here, leaving the Elven kingdom after the Prince vanished. From there, Faolan decides to meet with the shardbearers in the area who might know more on the matters. He first contacts Anne, meeting with her in her garden, but she has other things on her mind and so he hopes his next meeting is more helpful. So he messages Dorian Gray, and then the pair of them meet in Dorian's fancy sitting room to discuss matters concerning the art world and the elves.

    JULY
SPYQUEST - DAONNA - Faolan travels to Daonna, where he tracks down Kay and is nearly mugged by him before realizing the man is a gentle giant. From Kay, Faolan learns that The Cult of the Fox is training its members in anti-shardbearer techniques. The Cult is big in the shardhunter circles, and it would seem that the masks that they wear to hide their identity have immense magical power, although Kay doesn't have further details on that subject. He's going to try to infiltrate, perhaps he'll have a better understanding after he does. From there, Faolan bumps into Diarmuid in the city, shortly after the hangings, and hears word of Martin Maskmaker. He also gets a lead from him - a chandler with a modest storefront on Crann Darach, named Molly. Molly, as it turns out, is one of Alyosha's spies stationed there in Daonna. He asks her about Martin Maskmaker and she tells him he is "the first shardbearer, an ancient hero. Not all believe he's truly serving the Cult, but rather that they use the masks to encourage the rumour to gain support. None but a fool would stand against Martin." She also says, of the masks themselves, that they are "Old Magic. Spelled to undo memory; can't look on them with your own eyes and remember aught about their wearers except the smallest details. Likely have other powers, as well [...] Formed of leather of some kind, I'd bet shardbearer."
SPYQUEST - LEATHANN - From there, Faolan travels south to Leathann, where he meets Les and Melv, who confuse him, but do plan to help him. He will eventually draft them as formal agents later in the year. They tell him that it's confirmed a shardbearer killed the Oracle, and they will let him know if they hear anything more. From there, he is finally allowed to return home.
HOMEWARD BOUND - Faolan encounters Pod on the way home. He has recently picked up a direwolf pup, abandoned on the road, and they speak on the matter of the pup and Pod's training.

    AUGUST
EARLY AUGUST - Faolan returns home to Lancelot and Bridei. Bridei is so excited he performs his first transformation into his human form. Faolan realizes how much he missed Lancelot. And then proceeds to debrief his quest while taking a bath as Lancelot sits with the dragon baby in the same room...
MIRRORS - Faolan messages Hermione to request a commission of a series of mirrors from her, and thus creates his own private information network.
FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS - Faolan accompanies Gwen and Lance to the Festival of Lights in Leathann as their uncomfortable +1 to make this "not a date". Ostensibly he's also there to watch over Bridei, although Lancelot does a lot of cooing over Bridei himself. Faolan does a lot of glowering from the background.

    SEPTEMBER
EARLY SEPTEMBER - Faolan witness a sparring match between Gilgamesh and Lancelot demonstrating Lancelot's new powers and Gilgamesh's terrifying ones. Gilgamesh sets off one of Lancelot's triggers, and Faolan does a lot of growling from the sidelines, deciding he doesn't like him very much.
GENERAL - Faolan returns with Lancelot to Parrais for more Public Relations touring.

    OCTOBER
EARLY OCTOBER - Lancelot receives a letter and Faolan helps him read it. It is from Saber, inviting him to the first dance of Samhain, in lieu of the monarchs. Faolan is uncertain of this but it's supposed to be a peaceable occasion, right?
    SAMHAIN -

  • Faolan loses Lancelot - when he finds him he has been drinking and is somewhat melancholy. Faolan sits with him and listens to his thoughts and worries, sharing a drink with him as he does.
  • Diarmuid finds Faolan and the pair of them speak on Faolan's costume - for he has dressed tonight as Lancelot, after all.
  • Hermione also locates Faolan and the pair of them speak on the change in their friendship over the past year.
  • Faolan reassures Gwen that it is okay to enjoy herself at the party and take a break from her work; dress in fancy dresses even though she herself is not fancy (yet).
  • NOVEMBER
MEETING - Faolan attends a meeting with Lancelot and Aragorn to discuss Caer Glaem, Elves, and loyalties.
GENERAL - Faolan spends much of the month on regular duties. When word of the escaped convicts from the prison colony in Leathann reaches Caer Glaem, it makes him uneasy - are any of these people a threat to Caer Glaem itself?

    DECEMBER
    YULE -
  • Faolan receives a pile of items from Lancelot including new leathers, a riding cloak, a pair of bracers, and a new set of riding tack. Most are embossed with the symbol of a wolf sat by a harp. Included is a letter from Lancelot. You may never truly be the same man you were, but you can be something else. Faolan the bard and Faolan the assassin have the same heart, it says. Faolan keeps the letter as well.
  • Faolan is called down the the main area of the Keep to meet with a strange man who turns out to be Draco - Draco, who has a large sack of dragon hoard for Bridei. He has the dragon-turned-man bring it up to the room to present it to the little dragon himself.
  • Hermione presents Faolan with a charmed cloak, a charmed bag and set of potions to offer protection, as well as a sword made just for him and a sheath that ensures the sword never rust. Faolan is flattered by so much.
  • Diarmuid gives Faolan a leather bound notebook with a handwritten account of Diarmuid's life in it and also a bottle of fine wine. Faolan appreciates both immensely.
  • THE HUNT - Having won the Hunt last year, Lancelot will apparently get it into his mind that he doesn't need to take it seriously this year, thereby ending up getting himself cursed into becoming an animal this go around. An otter, to be exact. Faolan must then watch over him, Lady, and Bridei the three of them for the next few days until Lancelot is himself once more.

    JANUARY
GENERAL - Faolan accompanies Lancelot back to Treun once more for more Public Relations touring on behalf of the Seelie court. He checks in with the agent stationed there, and puts out feelers as to what might be going on with the Fortuna family, after the Governor was forced to abdicate his position. (The 26th marks Faolan's return from death, an event that is possibly worth celebrating?)

    FEBRUARY
GENERAL - Faolan travels with Lancelot back to Leathann again for another Public Relations visit on behalf of the Seelie court. During this time he checks in with his agents in the city as well. Also during this month, on the 14th, Bridei turns one year old.

    MARCH
