Regardless of which one of them had the correct information, it is enough of a tell to demonstrate that the tensions between the elves and the vampires are anything but steady in the city. For now most of it seems to be centered around this conflict and the art trade, but I do not doubt that such a tension will spread, if given the chance."

Faolan is quiet for a moment, hesitant, watching Lancelot sitting there with Bridei. The fact that they are speaking of such matters in front of the child does not escape him either. At least he is sleeping, and if they are lucky, would not understand such concepts at such an early age even if he weren't. "I would suggest that you do pursue relations with this new leader of theirs," he advises, "if you do not want the conflict to advance.
