Age: Faolan will not sleep with anyone he does not think has the ability to properly consent. Given his old world timeline, that means 15 and below.

REVERSE PERMISSIONS

Faolan is a former bard turned assassin/spy. He has a pretty heavy history that involves the tormenting of his family from a tyrant of distant relation to them. Faolan's older brother led the resistance against this man, and as a result his oldest sister's husband was murdered, causing her to miscarry a child. At the pinnacle of the conflict, Faolan's grandmother was murdered and he was forced to commit fratricide in order to save the rest of his family from a similar fate, though his younger sister (thirteen at the time) was abducted as a safeguard against the family seeking retribution. Faolan was then thrown out of his family's house, his mother dying a short time later from the grief of the experience. Faolan has very complicated feelings about family because of all of this. From there, he went on to become an assassin/sword for hire, because as he put it "taking orders and slitting throats" seemed to be all he was good for. The tyrant tried to hire him for work for himself, and when Faolan refused he threw him into a torture prison called Breakstone Hollow. Faolan says he escaped from that place only because he gave up on trying to save anyone else but himself, he survived it because he was already at his lowest and had nowhere further to fall. He has never been suicidal, because he lives for the mission, putting one foot in front of the other, but his outlook on life is never very positive and especially where he himself is concerned it can be very bleak.
