IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: Book 3, Chapter 6. Faolan is in prison and has just died by suicide.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Faolan has short dark hair and dark eyes. He has, as it is described, "a rather forbidding look about him". He is "an unexceptional-looking man of average height and wiry build, the sort of man who can blend into any crowd", although he will likely be shorter than the average man on board at 5'6". He is generally clean-shaven but a bit on the scruffier side. Behind his right ear, there is a crudely-done and now somewhat faded blue tattoo in the shape of a star, that will be somewhat hidden underneath his hair. His hands are calloused from a life of wielding a blade/bow and he has a lot of scars from work he has done as a spy/assassin/bodyguard, though most of them are not visible if he is fully clothed. He is also from a time when clothing was very simple, so he will dress as comfortably and casually as he can. Nothing fancy or complicated, they barely even had buttons back then. His voice is softer than one might expect from one so scowly. The timbre is a rich tenor, and if a person is trained in music, they might wonder if he is too... He probably smells not very fancy. He bathes! Sometimes. But he's used to traveling long-distance through the forests of Scotland and only having rivers or ponds to wash in. He will not use any fancy soaps or smells, so he's going to smell a lot like what he's doing, a little bit like sweat, and his own natural smell, which would be earthy/woodsy/leathery at home, especially because he wears a lot of leathers. Probably less so here, but that depends on what clothing he gets his hands on I suppose haha
•DEMEANOR: He behaves unremarkably, other than looking rather grumpy. He is used to needing to blend into any crowd. It's hard to get a read on him, which is the way he likes it. He seems at times overly reticent and wary, while at other times he is overly snarky and sarcastic or arrogant. In private, when he's more relaxed, he can get a bit more emotional. And though he claims otherwise, he DOES have a lot of emotions.
•ABILITIES: Faolan has no magical powers, but he is very skilled at hand-to-hand combat, horsemanship, bow and arrow, and strategic warfare. He is a master spy and assassin so he is also very good at stealth, disguises, and has some knowledge of poisons. His weapon of choice is the dagger, which he can throw with deadly precision, but he has been known to use a garotte at close range as well.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Faolan is 100% human and is used to getting banged up, shot with arrows, stabbed with knives, etc. He's from the 6th century AD though so he has never experienced modern medicine and thus might prove a Challenging patient...
•CABIN INFORMATION: Military in how sparse it is, at least to start. Nothing but the barest of necessities. Faolan has not had his own room... maybe ever? Certainly not in over a decade, and he's used to roughing it and living out of a pack at best. It's going to take some time to convince him to Live A Little
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Not offensive so much as he Nopes out of any situation that involves Music, and he's not going to give anyone his life story without them doing a LOT of work to crack him open first. ALSO he does have basically PTSD from being in prison several times for various reasons so that's going to be Touchy, especially if he finds himself locked up here for any reason...

•MENTAL: Yes OOCly, with the caveat that this is a HUGE violation for Faolan, he keeps himself locked up tight for Reasons so he'd be WAY ICly against it
